Impatiens - Fiesta Burgundy double

What would we do without impatiens?

If you have a lot of shade in your garden, Impatiens will be one of your choices that you will not want to pass.

They're the old reliable's for shade gardens when you want eye-popping color all season long.

These brightly colored flowers come in single, semi-double, or double and are borne either singly or in clusters on the stems.

They are excellent as bedding plants and I use them as edging plants as well.

If you have planters or containers available, be sure to place various Impatiens in them as well.

If you have a bright spot indoors, you may be able to grow them all year as an indoor plant.

Impatiens - Propagation:

The quickest and easiest way to propagate Annual Impatiens is by seed in the spring.

Select a sunny border are and dig deep, mixing in cow manure to provide rich light soil. I use my Troy Bilt Roto-tiller to fluff-up and aerate the soil, prior to seeding, so the roots will grow quickly and deeply. It is phenomenal what a difference this makes for annual Impatiens.
